The Bible
For electronic versions with many features, go to www.biblegateway.org. It has multiple versions, audio bibles, which I love, and many other features.
I currently use the English Standard Version (ESV), and there is a good, free online version of it at www.esv.org.
NANC (National Association of Nouthetic Counselors) Recommended Resources
NANC is a biblical counseling association. Here is a link to their website. www.nanc.org. On that page are five publishing resources with a lot of good books on many topics such as:

I especially recommend the booklets which provide good basic information in a concise, quick format to help with pressing problems, provide guidance, and challenge unbiblical thinking.
